Lower Green River Baseline Habitat Survey Report
January 2004

This report documents current instream and adjacent riparian habitat conditions affecting salmon in the mainstem Green/Duwamish River from river mile (RM) 32.1 to RM 5.7.

This report includes information on the Lower Green River Subwatershed and the upper portion of the Duwamish Subwatershed. Additional information is available on these parts of the watershed and how they support salmon:

This information helped the Steering Committee of the Green/Duwamish and Central Puget Sound Watershed (WRIA 9) develop and prioritize management actions for the Salmon Habitat Plan. This is one of a series of reports that make up the Strategic Assessment.

The preparation of this report was funded with a grant from the King Conservation District at the recommendation of the WRIA 9 Watershed Forum of local governments.
