Meeting Overview:
The first 2008 meeting of the Salmon Recovery Council will be January 17 from 3:00-5:30 p.m. at the Community Center at Mercer View at 8236 SE 24th Street, Mercer Island.
Major agenda items are: WDOT's proposal to widen SR520 and implications for Bear Creek; a proposal to carry over $52,000 in 2007 WRIA 8 Interlocal Agreement funds to 2008; initial Implementation Survey results; the Habitat Project Progress Report, including Salmon Recovery Funding Board and King Conservation District grants; and the decision on the WRIA 8 proposal to submit a EPA grant for Low Impact Development.
