The Task Force's recommendations have focused on policy, management and organizational culture.
In developing its recommendations, the Task Force was guided by these objectives:
- Simplify the voting process;
- Enhance fairness to all stakeholders;
- Promote accurate results;
- Build accountability; and
- Restore public trust and confidence in the elections process.
July 27, 2005...The Task Force unanimously approved a key set of recommendations that went to the King County Executive and presented its final report to the gathered press and public.
